Grants, Donations and Loans
Financial Assistance Clarifications
1. All Financial Assistance transactions will be handled with legal supporting documents, such as Memoradum of Agreements, Aknowledgment Receipts, etc. (see example)
2. PDP is a non-stock, non-profit educational institution. Thus, any financial assistance must be through grants, donations, and loans.
3. To maximize our educational programs (hands-on, usage of auditory & visual learning styles, scholarships, etc), it is our highest goal to be debt free so that any yearly profit can be invested into the said programs. Therefore, Grants and Donations are humbly encouraged and welcomed. Low-interest Loans may be considered per Phase of Development.
4. Grade and CARE Classrooms are income generating.
> Grants, Donations, Low-interest Loans
5. Elective Classroom (Library, Computer, Art/Theater Art, Music, Home Trade) are not income generating.
> Grants or Donations only
Financial Assistance Options
1. Grant or Donation in which 1 student will receive a full tuition scholarship in your name.
2. Expertise Loan Plan
This is a 5 year loan plan with straight 6.5% interest. It is based on the financial assessment that the loaned classroom has 25 students.
See Conditions Below:
a. Interest is calculated straight 5 years on the overall principal, regardless of decreasing principal each year.
b. If donations for such loaned classroom come in, then PDP has the right to pay in advance the remaining balance, however, interest for the current year must be paid in full.
c. If the student population for the loaned classroom falls in the successive years, then the stated monthly payments will be lessened for that school year. These balanced monies not paid will be transferred to the Extended Expertise Loan Plan which will commence on the 6th year at a 10% annual interest rate.
Loan Payback Plan
P800,000 Principle X 6.5% Interest Rate = P52,000 per annum
P52,000 Interest Income X 5years = P260,000 Interest Income
P800,000 Principle + P260,000 Interest Income = P1,060,000 Total Monies Returned
P1,060,000 / 5 Years (10months each year) = P21,200 monthly payments
